Comparison Testing of Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) with and without SportPort Technology
The purpose of this test is to measure the radiation into the human tissue. A flat phantom is used which is filled with liquid which represents the electrical properties of human tissue. A probe is used to measure the SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) inside the body liquid. The phone is tested WITH and WITHOUT SportPort’s Proprietary Shielding Technology to determine the effect it has on the SAR value of the phone.
As the SAR test results below show, without any protection, the maximum Specific Absorption Rate–the amount of radiation absorbed into human tissue–is 1.84 W/kg (watts per kilogram). But, with the SportPort patented shielding built into every SportPort garment, the absorption rate into human tissue is dramatically reduced to just 0.0522 W/kg, a reduction of more than 3500%.
